Love our pair of Nest thermostats, and we literally just installed our first Nest Protect yesterday.
I hope that the acquisition by Google ends up being a good thing. I can see it going either way. Google home automation jumpstarted by Nest two existing products with more to come could be great — or this could be the end of future products from Nest. I’m hopeful and thinking the former is more likely.
