I was very distraught when I heard a couple years ago about the state that Universal had allowed the main Delorean from the Back to the Future trilogy — left to the elements and cats living in it. I was then very happy to hear about its restoration, thanks to fans’ intervention.
It turns out that Sony pictures has allowed the Ghostbusters ECTO-1 Cadillac to get into the same state.
You’d think that these companies would recognize quicker the valuable props and properties some of these movies have generated, and would take better care of things.
