With Amazon, Google and Apple all now jumping into the remote-based music service business, it’s time to do a comparison of the three, along with some others that were already in the game like Rdio, Grooveshark and Spotify, among others. Thanks to Lifehacker, we have that initial report.

I’d take it all with a grain of salt though until Apple’s service is released and Google is available as a non-beta invite.

Subsonic sounds like a decent/viable solution for desktop-to-desktop streaming. May try that one out soon.
