So for the second day in a row, the Space Shuttle Endeavour didn’t launch. We drove down mid-afternoon to stake out a prime location of the shuttle liftoff, whih we did. Unfortunately, pretty much from the time we got down there, dark and ominous clouds hovered in the distance.

When the countdown reached its 9 minute hold time, the chance of a Sunday night launch was looking less and likely.

So I still haven’t gotten to see a launch in person, despite two possibilities this weekend. I’ve still got to squeeze one in before the shuttle program is retired. Stupid Florida summer weather!
