No, it’s not April 1st. I checked.
It seems a musical is in the works for Back to the Future. I fear it could be quite bad, but as a die-hard BTTF fan, I’ll probably check it out.
It’s still better than them doing a remake of the trilogy where the time vehicle is now a Mustang brought to you by Ford and the actors who potray Marty, Doc, Biff and others don’t hold a candle to the original 1985 counterparts.
Think of anyone that could replace Michael J. Fox or Christopher Lloyd. You’d either end up with a sub-standard performance or a goofy impression of the original actors, which is kinda what a musical version is going to end up being.
