Wow, I didn’t even think of this with the first round of the East regional of the Men’s NCAA 2008 Tournament being at the RBC. There really isn’t anything right around there at all. It’s sad, and could make it more difficult to get the tournament back here soon. Maybe this article and the comments within will help kick some development into gear. But it’s true. The RBC Center is off of I-40, not Hillsborough street. The restaurants and all that are right around there have struggled.
