We (including Bongo) are heading down to Florida next week to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with my family and friends. We are really excited because we only get down to Florida about twice a year. We have a lot planned and I can’t wait to spend some quality time with our family, who we miss so much.

We’re having a late Thanksgiving dinner with Andy and Jam on Thursday and then my amazing great Aunt and her friend will be stopping by Thursday to spend some time with the family. It will be nice to see her, as it’s been a number of months since we last visited with her.

Andy wants us all to do a group trip to the new IKEA store, which is having its Grand Opening soon. That should be fun. I hear the store is amazing but I’ve never been to one. We always pass the one in VA on our way to DC but we’ve never stopped.

Saturday night a bunch of my old friends from high school are coming over to my parents’ house to hang out. I can’t wait to see everyone. Some of them I haven’t seen in 6+ years. It’ll be really nice to get reacquianted with everyone again. It will be special for me too, because I get to introduce them to Ryan!

Overall, we are most definitely looking forward to the trip and I think I speak for both of us when I say we need a little time away from the hassles of the fence and the chaotic work schedules and stress.
