Amanda sent me an article about this last week… another reason to return to Myrtle Beach. Can’t wait to check it out. A 6 minute roller coaster is crazy! I can’t picture where the park’s going to be. If it’s near the Hard Rock Cafe in Myrtle Beach, it’s there at Broadway on the Beach and I can’t picture where there’s room for a theme park and one that would probably continue to expand and add rides.
Archive for July, 2007Sadly, this isn’t that surprising, but it’s disapointing, cause the guy seems like such a badass.

Rock Bloggin’: Kelly Clarkson and John Mayer Spill Their Guts on the WebPosted by: Keefer in MusicWelcome to the 21st century of music promotion and connection with fans: Rock Bloggin’: Kelly Clarkson and John Mayer Spill Their Guts on the Web Well there we go! The new HD TiVo at a much nicer price. I’m insisting we get one of these once the HDirecTiVo sells on eBay. So we’re creating a couple applications (read: web sites) specically for the iPhone. On the surface, it’s pretty exciting to screw around with something new and learning its ins and outs, its limitations and its advantages. But there’s one big downer here. I don’t have an iPhone, nor do I have the cash to pony up for one. Granted with this new project, I could probably buy one and write it off on our taxes, but it’s still a big chunk of change out of our pockets immediately. I was really hoping my bosses would offer up to buy me the 4GB iPhone for development. But it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. I was told using Safari would be the same. But we all know that doesn’t work. It’s kinda like developing a normal site where your target audience is IE6, but there’s no PC in site. In theory it can be done, but it’s a real pain in the ass without having a Windows box. I did find iPhoney, a free and open-source iPhone browser emulator and it looks like it might get the job done. It’s still not going to be the same as actually testing on the phone. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet, but want to make sure I do at some point, so I posted it for you all to try in the meantime. Check this out. Some AIGA members out in LA got graced with David Lee Roth and Alex Van Halen’s presence at a recent event. It definitely fuels rumors they’ll be touring. Too bad Michael Anthony wasn’t there too. More reasons for upstanding citizens to keep running all those anti-spyware (SpyBot and AdAware are both great) and anti-virus (AVG Free is a great free one for the PC),or just get a Mac. |
