Because of my recent building interests in cycling and the NASA space programs (after my recent visit to the Cape), I decided to add two new categories, creatively named “Space Stuff & NASA” and “Cycling.” I’m not going to go back and edit categories for old posts (at least not right away), but I will be using them moving forward.

My mom saw this in the N&O this weekend and grabbed it for me. It’s no secret I’ve fallen in love with cycling the trails that are the American Tobacco Trail. I’m clamoring for information on when the end of the trail at Ruby Tuesday near where my old apartment (Southpoint Crossing) is will connect to the trail you can pick up again at Massey Chapel Road.

The big barriers are I-40 and The Streets at Southpoint. This article sheds a little light on the hold up. The good news is a lot of money has been secured, the bad is that Durham is in a pissing match with the bridge that was created across 440 in Raleigh near the fairgrounds/RBC Center. *sigh*
