Gah, work has been busy busy busy!

I’ve been swamped at work with submittals and other work. I am going to be traveling a fair amount in the next 2 weeks. Next week I am driving down to Columbia, SC to bisit with our South Carolina office. Then, the following week I will be flying over to our Corporate Headquarters in Lenexa for a National Marketing Meeting, which will take place for 2 days.

I am hoping work slows in the next month. Especially since I’ll be travelling and out of the office more.

STS-114 is going to happen today:

1:32 p.m. - Launch Director Mike Leinbach has scrubbed the launch for today. One of four low-level fuel cutoff sensors is not functioning properly. Stand by for further information…

from Latest From Mission Control

They are going to postpone until at least tomorrow to analyze the low level fuel sensors. The fuel tanks will have to be drained and then the sensors will be analyzed to determine the problem. Sucks. But it’s all in the name of safety. They’ve got to make the space program as safe as possible.

For me, another day will be better for watching in HD anyway.

This BLog review mirrors a lot of the thoughts I have on Kelly Clarkson’s music and her potential.

I’m getting excited about this afternoon’s potential return to U.S. Space Flight. I guess part of it is because Amanda and I were just out there at the Kennedy Space Center less than a week ago.

The official NASA site has some great stuff:

Return to Flight

Click on that night shot of Discovery and get a larger photo, suitable for wallpaper. Very interesting. I’m going to be watching that site all day and it I just found that NASA TV is being streamed today via RealPlayer. They’re currently at T-3 Hours (held clock). Launch is still set for 3:51pm. Hopefully, the weather will hold.
