Well Amanda said it all, but I’m glad it’s all set in motion now. I think we’ll be great together and I’m excited for the future.

Still no pictures.. I think something is wrong with my mail server. I haven’t received any mail most of the night. I’ll post as soon as I can though.

I’m hoping my engagement spot will make Carolina as important to Amanda as it is for me.

I wanted to share with you guys the happy news about Ryan and I.

Ryan proposed to me this afternoon on the UNC Chapel Hill campus — at the historic Old Well. It was so perfect and yes, of course he got down on one knee.

…. I said yes!

Hopefully we’ll be able to post some pictures in the coming days. He secretly had a buddy hiding across the street with a digital camera taping and taking still shots of the event.

It was completely unforgettable!

Words cannot truly describe the abundance of emotion I felt when he knelt down on one knee but I do know he is who I will love for a lifetime. We are truly blessed and I can’t wait to share our special day with all of our family and friends!
