Alright, time for a rant, after a busy weekend and totally not having the time or anything real to post to the KeefLog.
So two weeks ago, I come home from an evening of work at the Apple store and my roommate tells me the dyer’s screwed up. The blower is working, but it’s not tumbling spinning. So I immediately call Best Buy’s service deparment since it’s still under their extended warranty program. They get me on the schedule with a local installer and I call the next morning to setup the time.
I decribe the problem to the local repair place and the woman says it sounds like a belt snapped. Repair guy comes out, looks at it and the belt has snapped. He says he doesn’t have the part and will have to order it. If it sounded like a belt snapped, why wasn’t it ordered from the get go?
Fast forward two weeks and I still have a non-functioning dryer. I called this morning and the part still hasn’t come in. I’m on their schedule to get it replaced on the 25th! This is insane! I’m writing Best Buy a nice little letter.
