So I went running after work, iPod in hand. About 5 minutes into the workout, in the middle of Van Halen’s “Humans Being,” the iPod froze up. No buttons would do anything, and the remainder of my run, all I had was silence. That’s the first time my iPod has ever locked up. But I guess it’s basically a little computer, and freezes are bound to happen. I just hope it doesn’t become a habit.

Anyway, I don’t know how people can run, workout, etc. without music. It really threw me off. I was more aware of my legs getting sore and the like, and my pace was off for sure.

Also, I ran though a lot of the paths in our area and there were several trees down. I also saw that a car in our neighborhood got the back half totally smashed in. Crazy stuff.

I’ve definitely improved a bunch in Madden. I’ve gotten to where I can run the ball really well, pass fairly well, but my defense is my shortcoming. I’ll hold my opponent for a loss for two plays and then on third, they’ll get the first and some.

So, I’m in search of some tips. Here’s my first find:

How To Master Madden 2004 - Defense

Can we say price mistake? Read the user reviews for some laughs:

I’m eating up any and all fantasy football columns/articles I can find out there. I see two of my top producers are on this guy’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” list — Garcia & Holmes. Neither one is a surprise, as they’re banged up, like a lot of my team.

Here’s a little info on Sony’s future gaming product releases, including the harddrive for the PS2, and a little on their upcoming portable, the PSP. My question on the HDD is whether it will somehow take over as a save source for games that normal dump to the PS2’s 8MB memory cards. I’d love to be able to dump all my memory cards onto the HD, especially all my sports titles. Madden 2004 has dibs on an entire memory card here.

Man, I love these lists that GameSpy puts together. I actually haven’t played the majority of the games on this list, but definitely agree with their Top 5 (especially Enter the Matrix):

The 25 Most Overrated Games of All Time

The wind really whipped around here for a little while late yesterday afternoon, but that’s the worst of it that we saw in the area. There’s a lot of little debris lying around — branches, leaves, etc, but not hardly any damage throughout the triangle.

The only real effect we ended up feeling here were a total of 6 quick power failures that lasted a few second at most.
