Like I said before, having this computer in the dining room here is completely unnecessary, but my roommate and I are both getting a fair amount of use out of it already… almost all just surfing.

I’m posting this now as I watch Bongo scarf down his food and I cool off from working out. I got 256MB more memory for this old machine via UPS today to max out the machine at 384MB.

Luckily, this machine has a DVD-ROM drive in it. I can see eating dinner here, while watching an episode of the Simpsons, Dark Angel, 24, etc. on here.

I’ll have to try that out… maybe here after a shower.

Lots of Apple tidbits today. It sure looks like the lack of updates on the PowerBook and Imac lines are Motorola’s fault here:

David Lee Roth is one weird guy. The Van Halen brothers are definitely pricks, but Roth is delusional.

This would be pretty cool in the future — the ability to download music and movies online legitimately and in good quality:

No wonder there’s a 15 business day wait for the average joe to get a G5. Virginia Tech has 1100 of them! Regardless, sounds like a pretty cool project.
