I'm not at all suprised that the Sims Online has flopped thus far. While the offline coutnerpart allows addictive gameplay, the online multiplayer games mean you have to invest a lot of time and regularly to keep up with eveyone else. I played Earth & Beyond, and beta tested for the Sims Online — too much time investment needed. While some of these games they're talking about in the article below sound cool, I'm pretty sure I won't be subscribing to any of em.
