After watching the Roadside Attractions yesterday, it reminded me I still had An Evening With Kevin Smith to watch.

It’s a compilation on several Q&A sessions he did at various college campuses and I gotta say it’s freakin hilarious. It’s a must see for anyone into his films. He’s really amusing. I was even more surprised when I got it that the thing is two discs. I don’t think you could really watch this thing in one sitting, as it’s got like 3.5 hours. It’s all interesting, but just a lot of View Askew info.

It’s definitely worth a rental, and should be a must have for Smith fans.

Oh, and order it at Jay & Silent Bob’s Secret Stash, and you’ll get your copy personally autographed by Smith himself. Pretty cool, eh?

Man, I think I’ve got shin splints.. or at least one. My left hurt a lot when I ran tonight, and I felt pain the night before at kickboxing. I hope it heals up quickly. Til then, I guess it’s ice and ibuprofin.

Wow, this is pretty cool. FOr all of you that have GTA3 on the PC, this mod seems to be pretty sweet, including making all the cars real cars, rather than generic vehicles. It also brings the Statue of Liberty to good ol’ Liberty City:

It’s about damn time! The last couple missions weren’t very fun IMHO. You spend most of your time in the game driving around, but in those ones, you’re in shootouts. It was great fun the first couple times around, but after that… just freakin annoying.

Well I said I wasn’t buying any more games til I beat and played the heck out of some of the ones I already own. One down, way too many to go. :) I think I’ll finish Dark Angel next, since that’s the next one I’m closest to beating.

Well it’s another dreary day here in North Carolina. We’ve been getting some precipitation daily and are ahead of the curve for rainfall this year, which is a huge contrast to last year’s draught conditions — reservoirs were quickly near-empty. My question is — how bout a little freakin moderation, nature?

Wonderful! My two favorite companies are kissing and making up. On the good side, that means that AOL will continue to use IE… a good thing for us Web designers. It also means AOL IM will work with MSN Messenger.

Why do I even bother checking my work email at home? It just pisses me off. *sigh*

Man, the NASA newsletter I’m subscribed to has some really cool science-related topics from time to time. This is a very interesting project. The applications they mention would be great:
