Wondering why the KeefLog page is so low on recent entries?

Well, it’s cause I haven’t been near a computer much since Christmas. I flew up to visit Monica and family and we’ve spent a day in New York City and I’m now currently typing this from Boston. It’s been lots of fun. I have two memory sticks full of pictures, though had to make a $60 battery purchase since my original digital camera’s battery has kicked the bucket and won’t hold a charge for more than five minutes. :(

Oh well. It’s cold here in Boston and there’s supposed to be a wintry mix for the day I fly back to NC. I hope I make it back in one piece and without too many delays!

When they show a dog on TV, do you try to get your dog to look at him? Don’t you want your dog to see the dog on TV? I do. “Look at the doggie!” Over there!” He won’t look. Even if you try to twist his head around and point it toward the TV, he won’t look. They never look where you want. If you point at something, they just stare at your hand.

I just wanted to wish anyone and everyone who reads my KeefLog. I hope you all had a great day, hanging out with friends and family. I got lots of cool gifts, and was able to check off a bunch of items from my Amazon wishlist. :)

Merry Christmas to all and to all good night. (I’m off to bed)

Man, it just really doesn’t feel like Christmas Eve. I think a big part of it is the fact that I still had to work a half day and all. It wasn’t that bad.. had plenty to do there. But except for the last Christmas, I’ve always had that break after exams (or two years ago when I was laid off).

I spent the evening over at my parents and will retun when I get up in the morning. Even going to the Christmas Eve church service at my mom’s church didn’t make it feel more like Christmas Eve really. Afterwards, I basically sat around over there, watched some TV with the family and then play a round of Simpsons Monopoly that John gave me for Christmas (Which is really a sweet setup BTW).

Another thing is here in North Carolina, we rarely get a white Christmas, just a wet Christmas.

But anyway, Christmas Eve or not, I’m beat. It’s off to bed for me.

From the looks of it, we’re abotu the only ones working today. I come in with no traffic either direction. When I called in the (lack of) traffic report for my route, the guy said him and me were probably about the only ones working. We got off at one today, but I’m still waiting for the Weekly Specials emails to finish sending… which they just did. I’m off. Happy Holidays!

I’m sure I’ll write some more KeefLog entries in the next couple days, but if not, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Man you know this is gonna be in a lot of blogs. A woman caught in the crossfire was shot in teh chest, but her fake boobs saved her life. LOL

Well I’m typing this using Mozilla in linux. Pretty cool. John is checking it out too. It runs a little slowly on my PC cause if it’s running totally from the CD-ROM, but I think I’m either gonna put linux on its own machine, or do a partition on this box so that I can run it on a PC.

Doh! According to www.digitalbits.com:

“Universal’s Back to the Future Trilogy DVD set contains all three films on disc, as you know. But what you may not know is that the widescreen versions of Back to the Future 2 & 3 on the set are mis-framed (badly or not depending on who you ask). But word is Universal is going to be addressing the issue in the new year with replacement discs for those who want them. The corrected discs will be available in late February - call (888) 703-0010 for all the details.

“I’m not even going to comment on the fact that Universal is knowingly selling mis-produced discs to make its holiday sales numbers, hoping that most of you will never notice the problem. The studio has decided, in its wisdom, to stop providing review copies of its new titles to many (if not all) review publications. So if you’re wondering why there are so few reviews of the set online and in print, it’s ’cause Universal apparently wants it that way.”
