So the iPods are selling in more retail chains than the Apple Store (soon). My question is when will the price drop hit? They’re really cool devices, but really expensive.
Archive for October 25th, 2002I’ve been following this one for awhile. I can’t fathom how they can make and control individual molecules to work as a chip’s instruction set or whatever. http://www.cnn.com/20002/TECH/biztech/10/25/ibm.nanotechnology.reut/index.html There’s something really breathtaking about listening to music through headphones. The customer service woman kept talking this morning and I had a heck of a time concentrating, so I pulled out my little headphones. I’m listening to a mix of MP3s and currently, it’s Stevie Ray Vaughan covering Hendrix’s “Little Wing.” I’m definitely hearing more of the intracacies and more individual instruments listening on headphones. I gotta do this more often, especially at work, to drown out the annoyances. I guess at home too, especially in the morning when John is still asleep. I got a pair of Advent wirelss headphones, so probably will use them tomorrow morning while movin around the house. Well I finally got a win in our Madden League! It wasn’t pretty, but it’s a win nonetheless. I had Green Bay. My opponent took the Houston Texans. I’m down in the fourth quarter against the Texans. Went 3 and out. I punted to the 5 yard line. First defensive play, I blindside Carr, taking him out of the game. Next play, I sack the backup QB in the endzone for a safety. Then I get the kickoff, march down the field, eating up all but 40 seconds of the clock and put it in the end zone for the go ahead score. My defense held the Texans, not able to get a first down. Do 4 kneel downs to win it — 26-21 And I thought behind our entertainment center was bad! |
