Nice article about the new not-really competition for the iMac from Gateway:

I’d heard rumors that the radar system picked up the Japanese fleet coming, or that Roosevelt knew prior to the attack, but never really thought either held much water… this adds some validity to one or the otehr (or both), if this is true:

Nice! I just read there’s a Sam & Max sequel by LucasArts in the works! I’ve always loved the LucasArts adventure games — Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, etc.

Can’t wait for the release of this one. S&M was really funny too!

I read that Circuit City is phasing out sales of VHS tapes as DVD sales are really taking off.

It’s so ironic that Circuit City is the first to do this as they originally shunned the DVD format for their proprietary and inferior format, Divx. hehe They’re still hurting from their investment there.

Is this gonna be another VHS/Beta-type war?

PLEASE forward this email to everyone in your address book asking them
to also forward it.

Please join us on 09/11…………………we have over a month to get
the word out all across this great land we love and call the United
States of America. Let’s see how powerful e-mail can be!

On Wednesday, September 11, 2002 everyone in the USA who will be
driving a motor vehicle is asked to drive with their headlights on during
daylight hours.

Though no explanation is needed as to why we are commemorating
September 11…………………….we hope more importantly to pay respect to
the victims of that day, show our nation’s solidarity and show support for
our men and women of the Armed Forces.

You can help by sending this e-mail on to others!

Remember………………….09/11 LIGHTS ON!

Finally, these past two days we’re getting some much needed rain! I hope it rainst the remainder of the work week, and then clears up Saturday, at least in VA, for our trip up to Kings Dominion.

No, not a $100,000 Car, 100,000 miles!

I’ve been meaning to post this for over a week… last weekend my Celica went over the 100,000 mile mark. It’s actually got like 100,600 now. But the ol’ Celica’s still as strong (if underpowered) as ever.
