A Canadian actress has lost her part in The Matrix Reloaded, as Australian authorities have kicked her out of the country. Brendalee Doen had been vacationing in Japan but was arrested by Australian immigration officials upon her return to the country for more filming, as her visa had expired.

Doen was then sent to a detention center while her case was examined and then subsequently deported under the country’s zero tolerance immigration policy. The ruling bars Doen from re-entering the country for three years, meaning that she won’t be able to film her role in the sci-fi sequel. Unsurprisingly, Doen plans to appeal the decision.
