Very cool. A guy from alt.rec.pinball, who also happens to live in Durham, Matt Young helped me immensely. Turns out I found the place where the short was, but I didn’t have the tools to localize it. He had a multimeter and two toolboxes full off pinball realated parts. He even helped me clean some drop targets (that now are bright white) and helped me get the playfield leveled. So the game is functioning great now. My first game back got about 4.5 million… not enough for a high score slot, but still not bad after being out of practice for awhile.

I’m about to head off to help Ashley move into her dorm at UNC. It’s kinda weird that she’s getting ready to start at Carolina. Kinda cool at the same time.
